![]() Nothing is too much trouble and EVERYONE, from top to bottom, were always smiling and ready to chat or help. There are not enough words in the English Dictionary to describe how Incredibly wonderful they all are. The most amazing thing though was the crew and staff. I should say, however, that certain things, such as beauty treatments, were being pushed at you all over the ship and were certainly not cheap. On this ship you can choose whether you want to mix and join in activities and events or just do your own thing. The range of activities, bars, restaurants, cafes and shops was truly awesome. I don't have enough words to describe the magnificence of Reflection. Where else can you eat food and watch dolphins swimming at the same time!! We did, however, choose to eat our breakfasts in the Opus Restaurant. The choice of food, both hot and cold, was amazing and we liked the informality of dining there. Whilst we found the food and the silver service in the main Opus restaurant excellent, we decided early on that we would eat our evening meals in the Ocean View Cafe on Deck 14. The food was gorgeous and the choice excellent. We eventually found it on Deck 14 and were not disappointed. The balcony was a major plus. Our luggage was waiting for us outside the room and once we had unpacked we went in search of the buffet. We were a little disappointed at first, we thought it would be larger but in reality it was more than adequate for our needs. Our stateroom was spotlessly clean and immaculate. We were very, very tired though having had an extremely early start. We took a while to find it, not realising the even numbers were on one side of the ship and the odds on the other!! By the time we reached our stateroom we were quite anxious and were wishing we were back at home. Once on board, there was a bit of a scrum for lifts up to our stateroom. ![]() Fortunately, because we were on the JetSail package, we were fast tracked through check in and passport control. We were quite daunted when we arrived at the terminal, there were hundreds of people all trying to jockey for position. Landed at Grosseto Airport (a military airfield) and was then escorted to a waiting bus for the hour and a half trip to Civitivecchia. A very civilised way to travel with 2 course breakfast on the way out and 2 course lunch on the way home. We were served coffee/tea plus small danish pastries in the very plush lounges. No crowds, no fighting to get on the plane. Part of our package was that we got to fly on a private jet from the private terminal at Stansted. Booked this first time cruise for our Golden Wedding Anniversary. ![]() This review will be about mine and my husbands experience on board the ship and not about the trips we went on.
